View the video (it’s several years old but still relevant) for a bit of advice before filling out the form below.
I (Joshua) give priority to submissions sent through the form below. I really do look at and listen to every submission from this page (even if it takes me a while to respond to you).
If you took the time to find MTM, read through this page and fill out the form; I respect that and want to honor your effort by listening to your music. However, if you send links without any form of an introduction; I will delete your submission without listening.
I am here for the little guys. I am most interested in smaller indies and DIY’ers who have NOT achieved 1,000,000 Spotify plays, been featured on major platforms, or have absurdly large social media followings. On the flip side, I have covered many bands and artists over the years before they reached higher levels of success; and THAT is AWESOME!!!
To further put yourself on my radar, follow and engage on social media (Twitter, FB, Pinterest = @MidTNmusic; my IG = @jsmobunks). If you share articles, be sure to tag @midtnmusic or @jsmobunks.
By submitting music, EPKs and other materials you are agreeing to these Terms, even if you do not actually visit the link and read them. Once you click send on the below form, you are agreeing to those Terms. These terms save our ass, they are in no way intended to harm or take away from your art.
Fill out the form below so I can jam your music.
If you are looking for more blogs to submit to, the services listed below can help you expedite the process of finding and submitting to them.
- SubmitHub: Read my in-depth article about this service over at UL Sounds. Bloggers receive 50 cents for screening submissions and giving 20+ words of feedback. Unlike musicSUBMIT (see below), SubmitHub is a different community with different players where different styles of music are more prevalent and preferred. Learn more or submit via SubmitHub.
- musicSUBMIT: musicSUBMIT offer their network of blogs, e-zines, radio stations and podcasters 50 cents for every submission screened. I have used this service for many years to not only receive submissions but also promote my music and the music of others I have worked with. Learn more.
