The Serotones

Official Press Release – The Serotones EP

The Serotones are a young new alternative rock band hailing from Long Island, New York. The group is independently releasing their debut EP ‘The Serotones’ on November 18th, 2014. It will be available digitally on iTunes and other digital platforms as well as for physical purchase through their website ‘theserotones.com‘ and amazon.com.

The Serotones present a different perspective of alternative rock music by fostering an electrifying blend of rock, funk and jazz to create one cohesive, feel-good sound. The Serotones tastefully display their satisfying grooves and stylistic diversity on their debut EP release titled ‘The Serotones.’ The EP was produced by Mike Watts (The Dear Hunter, As Tall As Lions) and recorded at VuDu Studios in Long Island, NY. The Serotones are thrilled to share a five song EP that touches upon themes of deception, love, longing, chaos and liberation.

The Serotones are a young five-piece band featuring the creative abilities of Matt Cusano (Bass), Kevin Eiserman (Vocals/Guitar), April Rose Gabrielli (Vocals/Keys), Jared Gabrielli (Drums) and James Humphreys (Lead Guitar). The group began as a duo when musicians Kevin Eiserman and Jared Gabrielli met in 2011 and began to develop a collection of ‘feel-good’ music, thus developing the name “The Serotones.” Eventually, the group expanded and added Matt Cusano on the bass, April Rose Gabrielli on the keys/supporting vocals and most recently lead guitarist, James Humphreys. All five members write songs for the group, making the creative process an intense and joint effort.

The Serotones work to revolutionize emotions through music and enhance perspectives through the lens of five young people and look forward to a successful release.
