Spiritual Messenger by Tisha Emberton (Poet of the Angels)

Lighthouse Painting by Daniel King
Lighthouse Painting by Daniel King

Honor will not die.
Pay tribute to the riders of the sky.
Soldiers with wings; fire angels send warning:
Drift not to the cowards of men who offer nothing.
Dare not follow into temptation of falling from salvation.
Find my will and send your messengers to their calling.
You breathe through fleshly windows-
Fighting with fallen arrows of the sting…
You find forgiveness in the flight of whispers of being born again.
The caretaker of Winter smiles as you spring from your shelf life.
I walk in this hurricane of old photographs, scattered ticket stubs
and lightening bolts…I hold every memory close.
Can you remember when…
I danced like the wind and the poetry flowed from my lips,
Like forests that open up to a brand new sky,
And the painted imagery of trips that drift outside of dreams,
Haunting, screaming and living in cold sweats,
and then the dawn of epiphany is wet from all the climaxes of emotion.
To find myself in the erosion of pride,
I kiss the levels of humbling resolve.
I stretch my skin to take on more than I can chew.
I have to find the antidote of evolving in this fire flight,
Of finding the true meaning of, Who Am I? Who Am I?
The dawn of a new age when we realize,
The wrecking ball can be curved by opening your eyes,
and daring yourself to fly above the tide of those who attempt to deny-
Your sight from glory.
Hold truths. Have faith.
Believe in me because I believe in you.
Hear the messengers in the wind;
Look into the eyes of God, and be born again.
I hear the angels speak…
Breathe into me like poetry.
