Like many of us, Paul Maged was shocked and devastated by the news of Chris Cornell’s passing. Considering Chris’ music was a huge source of influence and inspiration, Paul wanted to pay tribute in the best way he knew how; covering one of Cornell’s songs, Like A Stone.

Creating the foundation for his impactful, emotional rendition, Paul started off with Cornell’s acoustic version of the song but soon decided it would be more appropriate to switch to piano as the main instrument in order to truly capture Paul’s unique style for his tribute.

Paul’s version of Like A Stone is a potent blend of stimulating melody, passionate soul-infused vocals, and an energy that builds and builds as the song progresses. As Paul digs deeper and deeper into each lyric, the more you are pulled into the depths of this Chris Cornell classic.
