Nashville-based Americana rock artist Jameson Elder has arrived with a new track, “Your Time Is Coming Soon,” from his forthcoming debut LP, Prodigals & Thieves, set for release in early 2016.  Elder wrote and co-produced the new record, having gained experience working with producer Paul Moak (Relient K, Mat Kearney, Marc Broussard) at The Smoakstack Studio (Kelly Clarkson, Cold War Kids, Dave Barnes, The Indigo Girls).

Elder is perhaps a gifted storyteller first and a talented musician second. His songs are lyrically driven, building a poetic narrative in a soundscape teetering between Americana and classic rock–an ideal space to construct a shiny new piece of American folklore. “Your Time Is Coming Soon” explores a darker side of Elder, in which he creates a character who is forced to face his own immortality and confront haunting demons from his past. The track is ultimately an uplifting one though, inspiring its listeners to take advantage of life’s opportunities and precious moments.
