We have featured Italian alt-folk-pop artist and composer Iuliano previously. Iuliano has returned with an upbeat, melodically rich, highly infectious new single and music video. The title is The Hidden Root.

With a free-spirited, exploratory, serendipitous approach to his creative process, Iuliano states that the inspiration for this song comes from playing guitar; an instrument he does not play. Not bound to any rules, training, conditioning or cliche thought patterns related to playing guitar, Iuliano was able to allow his years of musical experience to blaze a trail through unfamiliar territory.

The Hidden Root is a sonic treat. Sweet guitar tones, waves of intensity driven by big drums and led by infectious melodies, and, of course, an engaging vocal performance by the creative mastermind himself. If Iluiano isn’t on your radar, it’s time to pay attention.
