hooyoosay Planted A Palm Tree In My Garden

Hooyoosay-Palm Tree In My Garden

hooyoosay is by far one of the coolest groups of musicians and their new single “Palm tree in my garden” is one of the most refreshing, catchy, and unique songs I’ve heard yet in 2016.

Music with no ego: it just came along naturally with hooyoosay.”

hooyoosay is a group of musicians who come together to create great songs without worrying about giving credit to anyone… that’s right, no egos allowed here.

The story behind hooyoosay is quite interesting so I will paraphrase for you…

  • Some friends created some songs and wanted to know how to get them on iTunes.
  • One of them says “don’t give me credit because I can’t release music without my label’s consent.”
  • The other friend says, “don’t mention me either. This is completely opposite of the music I play professionally.”
  • The third friend says, “how about no credits at all. I don’t mind.”

And “no credits, no gigs”, the way of hooyoosay, was born.

“Palm tree in my garden” fuses elements of pop, rock, blues and some grooving R&B to inject us with frequencies we will be craving to repeat. This song is just catchy and upbeat and did I say catchy?

“Ooohhh lucky me…”

Folks, hooyoosay just became one of my new favorite bands. Connect on FB or Twitter.

Jam to “Palm tree in my garden” on Bandcamp. Learn more about hooyoosay on their website.
