Texas native singer/songwriter Heather Whitney has arrived with her newest album Moving On and the music video to her single Shut Up And Dance.

Pouring her life experiences and emotions surrounding those experiences into her music, Moving On touches on themes of love, heartbreak, hardships and moving on toward better and brighter days. Bouncing back and forth between Newton, Texas and Nashville, Heather worked with producer Buddy Hyatt writing, recording and then hand-picking songs for the record.

Shut Up And Dance is guaranteed to get your boots scootin’ across the honky tonk floor as excellent musicianship, foot stompin’ groove, Heather’s charm and unforgettable melodies takeover your senses with a wave of delightful country-infused frequencies.

Just because you’re working towards your dreams, doesn’t mean that the world stops spinning, and hardships won’t find you,” says Heather. “What gave me strength to complete my album, was knowing that I was not alone, & that someone else out there would hear these songs, relate to them, and possibly gain some healing like I did. We have to stick together.”
