Bay Area folk singer songwriter Eric Anders has released an impressive collection of well crafted songs spanning a career and an entire discography of tasty, memorable jams.

Big World Abide: The Best of Eric Anders includes a wide variety of soundscapes which fill a blank canvas with years of emotions, perspectives, musicians, locations and evolving creativity.

Jeff Peters (who has worked with the Beach Boys, Brian Setzer, and others) not only mixed a few of Anders’ releases but also remastered this compilation consisting of music from Eric’s albums Not At One (2003), Songs For Wayward Days (2004), More Regrets (2005), Tethered to the Ground (2006) and Remains In Me (2011).

Take the classic elements of James Taylor’s music and drop them in a blender with the more modern, pop-esque appeal of Coldplay, the forgotten but most potent characteristics of Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake’s style and you’ll have an idea of what to expect on Anders’ Best Of collection.
