Chase Perryman Band Performing At I Am What I Am Festival August 18th

Chase Perryman Band

You can catch Chase Perryman Band at 4:45 PM, Saturday, August 18th on the Laser Man Beak Stage during I Am What I Am Music Festival in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

Bio

Blending southern-rock, blues, and modern alternative rock, Chase Perryman’s music is wonderfully eclectic. His voice is engaging and warm, and his lyrics are heartfelt. He writes how he feels, what he knows and he sings from the very depths of his soul.

Perryman is involved in every aspect of his career. He writes all of his music, and plays several instruments, including the guitar and drums. He is also a gifted graphic designer, as well as an accomplished illustrator. He designs all of his album art, as well as his personal website. He also creates all of his own music videos, including one where he demonstrates his ability to ride a unicycle, play the guitar, and sing: all at the same time.

Chase released his debut album, “Songs For the Sirens,” in 2009 before being discovered by Archetype Records, an indie label based out of Atlanta. His sophomore album, “All Things Invisible,” was recorded with Archetype Records in 2011. They have since parted ways and Perryman is now producing his own music again and has promised free music for life for all of the fans that subscribe to his email list.

“I write so many songs, and I can’t put all of them on the albums. Being an artist this is hard because I created the songs to share with others. That is why I decided to consistently put out new videos of all of my songs, even the one’s that don’t ‘make the cut’, and offer the mp3’s of these acoustic recordings for free to my fans.” Perryman said about his ‘Free Music for Life’ promotion.

Perryman and his band ‘the People Familiar with the Situation’ are currently working on recording Perryman’s third album, ‘the Storm of Us.’ Even though the free music his subscribers receive is primarily acoustic, make no mistake this album is a rock record, that truly showcases the live band experience.
