Black Horse Motel Unleash Deeply Personal, Pristine Music on Parable

Black Horse Motel-Parable

Philly based Americana rockers Black Horse Motel release and reflect on the last four years of life changes, line-up changes, and creative growth in their deeply personal EP Parable.

Top notch, grade AAA musicianship induce beautiful melodies, enchanting harmonies, engaging sound beds and a collection of five truly moving and sonically epic tracks.

Run, Rabbit, Run is the fast paced, eerily anthemic soundtrack perfect for the moonshiner hauling cargo through the dirty, narrow, curvy, cliff hanging mountain roads.

Bones is the slowed down ballad evoking reflection and nostalgia through a mellow but potent blend of fiddle melodies, finger picked guitars and soothing vocal harmonies.

Where The Money Comes From kicks off with more of those awesomesauce harmonies and soon moves into a hand clappin’, foot stompin’, anthemic ditty that builds in energy until the last note.

Take It Back would be my choice for the wide appealing, radio ready, pop-esque ballad..although I use the word pop-esque, the band sticks to their Americana roots without a second thought.

Dear Mama kicks off with simple, energetic claps building into a catchy call and response between male and female vocals that continues to build with gritty fiddle, dirty guitar tones and plenty of attitude.

Black Horse Motel has a new fan.

Parable is available as a digital download or you can grab it on CD.
