When two creative personalities have known each other since the tender age of 10, it’s safe to assume there is a unique and powerful chemistry.
*AUDRA* (vocalist/songwriter) and Pat Walsh (guitarist/songwriter), from New Haven, CT, have known each other since childhood which has allowed them to develop quite the artistic partnership.
It also means Chaser Eight‘s songs are a reflection of the ups and downs of life. This band lives through their music!
“We explored music together from such a young age,” says *AUDRA*. “Pat lived two minutes away. It was an easy connection, but we were also willing to put the effort in to develop our music.”
..and they have developed it quite well.
Completing Chaser Eight‘s lineup are Billy Wang on bass, Aaron Tagliamonte on keyboards, and Pete Giannini on drums. All the members have some type of long-lasting familial bond which holds them together and allows their creative energies to journey on a higher plane than your average band.
These guys sound like a combination of The Wallflowers and The Killers led by Blondie or possibly Bonnie Raitt. In other words, Chaser Eight kicks some rock and roll ass.
Their newest EP, At The 426, acts as a homage to the bands creative space. It is one indie-alt-rockin’ good time.
With a rehearsal space/studio in their basement, Chaser Eight came together to record, mix, and master this new EP all on their own.
…to create music that is genuine, grounded, and a reflection of the space where it was created.
“We really wanted to extend the sensuality of our last EP, Up and Up, with deeper, meaningful tunes to continue taking listeners on our musical and emotional journey,” says vocalist/songwriter *AUDRA*.
This is the band’s 3rd EP and became available on October 1st. Go grab your copy.
