Amilia K Spicer Set To Release Wow And Flutter in April, Fill Me Up Now Available

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman March 9, 2017 9:14 am Tagged With: Americana, Folk, singer, songwriter

Amilia K Spicer

Americana songstress Amilia K Spicer is set to release her third studio album, Wow And Flutter, April 28th but the lead single Fill Me Up is now available!

Taking us on a journey through her musical DNA, Fill Me Up scratches the surface of what we can expect on the full length Wow And Flutter album.

Rolling rhythms guide us through a sonically pleasing soundscape of childhood stomping grounds, beautiful shots of nature, and a twangy yearning for the universe to hurry up and fulfill our broken souls.

[Tweet “Get ready for folk-rockin’ greatness with @AmiliaKSpicer #nowplaying #np”]

Amilia delivers a good ole folk rockin’ journey and I can’t wait until the full album is available so I can experience the entire ride!

Joining her for Wow And Flutter is a top notch team of musical talent including: keyboardists Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Foo Fighters), Mike Finnegan (Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal), singer/songwriter Jimmy LaFave, bassist Daryl Johnson (Stones, Dylan), guitarists Tony Gilkyson (X, Lone Justic) and Gurf Morlix (Lucinda Williams).

Although Spicer is known for her work as a pianist, she flexed her multi-instrumentalist skills for this album playing guitar, banjo and lap steel. Amilia also produced the album with a little help from Steve McCormick and Malcolm Burn.

Fill Me Up is now available. Wow And Flutter drops on April 28th (2017).

Connect with Amilia on her official website or find her on FB, Twitter or IG.
