Murfreesboro-based Will Leggett and the Barrelhouse Boys release the “Speed of Sound“, now streaming on Souncloud.

Will Leggett is better known to MTSU students as Dr. Leggett and happens to rank in my top 3 professors from my years spent in Peck and Todd Halls. I first heard his music when he handed out CDs to his Ethnomusicology students and I’ve been a fan since.

As if dealing with college students and musicians isn’t enough, Will is also a family man and an awesome artist (painting not music). His style is unique and I really dig it. You can see some of his work on the Murfreesboro Pulse’s website or in this MTSU News article.
