Mid Tenn Listens Live
In the case of Mid Tenn Listens Live (video/live stream podcast), if you are not happy with what our review panel has to say on-air, we are not obligated to remove or edit out your song review from our broadcast; no matter how mad and upset you might be. We are also not required to remove your song review since you agree to these terms upon submission to us from our Submit Music Form.
If you do NOT want your song reviewed by our live panel, then we will honor your request and will not use your music for or during this video podcast/live stream event. Opting out is as simple as not selecting MTL Live Song Review in the Submission Options menu on our Submit Music Form.
Mid Tenn Listens Live – Full revenue disclosure: as stated, we do not sell any of your materials (though we will link to your store so that you can sell them). We utilize Videscape for video hosting, which pays a small royalty for each stream similar to Spotify and other services. In the near future, we will be creating a Patreon page specifically for fans and musicians interested in Mid Tenn Listens audio/video casts. Patreon is an online “patronage” service which allows us to make a little money by offering special content to our “patrons.”
The weekly “MTL” show takes roughly 2.5 work-days per week to produce. It also ties up our team of panelists for about 6 hours each week. That’s a minimum of 50 work-hours going into each presentation. If you are not comfortable with the owners of MidTnMusic.com earning this revenue, then DO NOT submit your music for inclusion in our “Mid Tenn Listens Live” live stream event.
